I'll have to check it out. It's always interesting to hear good players, even people I'm not very interested in, talk about music. I used to take "Guitar Player" and enjoyed interviews with some heavy metal players and others I'd never listen to in a million years because some of them had insights that were totally new to me.

So there is some poetry to be found in that speech! I am glad to have piqued your curiosity. I hadn't been familiar with it until it was part of a school wide writing assignment where I was teaching a few years back. I tear up even when I read some of his work...and almost always when I hear it. I wonder how much of that is grieving the loss of that level of language in the era of the sound bite.

Thanks, Kris. I was trying out an excerpt from Martin Luther King Jr.s speech "What is your life's blueprint?" It turns out it makes for a good passage in a moving speech but found poetry not so much.

I've been busy after too long not being busy so even though I seem to be rushing from this to that and not always getting to everything I'd like to...it is so much better than the alternative.

I remember reading a few years ago a number of disdainful claims by "experts" that weather changes couldn't cause headaches. BAH! I say to them, BAH! My head predicts weather changes like a Weather Channel veteran.

I don't know where you live but the freak-tastic weather around here has caused many a baaad headache: mine was Monday. Which seems appropriate.
